I think I find this post every April Fools Day and I am so happy that I do
How I join skeins
Cleeeeeveeer!
It’s good to learn, remember, and share stuff like this.
When my mom or her sisters did crochet growing up, their dickhead older brothers thought it was hilarious to snip the yarn somewhere in the middle of the bundle. I suspect mom would’ve found a trick like this really handy.
TUMBLR IS SO BORING WITH ALL YOU NERDS AT DASHCON

Some of Elbit’s factories are not owned outright, and therefore landlords and property managers are required to harbour their criminal activities. Those who work directly with Elbit are considered secondary targets of Palestine Action’s campaign.
As the campaign against Elbit has grown over the years, so have the actions against secondary targets. Such actions have included covering their premises in red paint to symbolise Palestinian bloodshed, dismantling infrastructure, crashing events and storming offices.
The sustained actions have paid off as four companies have cut ties with Elbit after targeted campaigns in the past three months alone.
A big thank you to Cherri for creating my brand new emotes 💜
They were great to work with on creating these, and are a delightful streamer so be sure to check out Cherri’s work over on Twitch, Bird Hell, and / or Blue Sky 👀
Hello all, the short version is I will be largely offline from Jan 21 to 28 in support of the global strike for Palestine. This thread is a good view of the basics if you’ve not heard: https://fxtwitter.com/boldlycarryon/status/1747689780471558172
I debated whether or not to publicly say anything as I have not been online much lately as it is so it feels a tad performative on my part.
However, I think it is important to add my small voice to the others out there. The horrors the people of Palestine are subjected to daily are unconscionable. There can be no excuse for what has been and is being done to them, and I will entertain no suggestions otherwise. That my government aids these atrocities, that it has for decades before this acceleration, is one of the few things that make me deeply furious and terribly sad.
It should never have started, and it must end.
In service of this, I will be checking in online to reblog / retweet post related to Palestine and other countries that desperately need our help (Congo, Sudan, Tigray…) once a day and then simply logging off entirely.
Those who know me can still connect directly through the usual channels but I will otherwise be absent.
Obviously, not everyone can commit to some or any of what is asked of us. We all have our personal dangers to contend with after all, so as always I remind you not to harass or judge those who continue as normal. We do not know the factors that impact their lives or decisions they must contend with.
That aside, do what you can. Whether online or offline as both arenas are critical to creating change. Reach out to your representatives, find mutual support groups, connect with members of the local community if you can.
That these things happen to the Palestinians at all should be reason enough to help them: They are people and no one deserves torture, oppression, or extermination.
Nevertheless, I will impart a bit of wisdom that can be easy to forget: There is no equity, equality or freedom for any of us until it exists for all of us.
Take care out there
